Yup...I accidentally hit the auto tailgate on the fog while my garage door was opening (truck parked inside). The tailgate was just flapping against the door as it opened. Left numerous scratches on the tailgate. I was pissed...

I wish the dealer could turn off that function...

A brief check of the FORSCan spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uDSQ1Z5a2Wt8-kjrSiVSlDFGFHnfeuhb3RTMVz95730/edit#gid=0) shows that the remote tailgate release can be disabled (line 191 on the BCM tab on the spreadsheet linked above).

Yep, I saw that already. I am going to do it because I doubt would have used the remote release in the first place, and I can't have my stuff falling out the back of the truck.

What I posted is a 5 button fob. It does not have a tailgate function. Pug showed me how to program it. If you have 2 fobs you can program another yourself. All functions work on the fob.

The tailgate release button, that is only on the 802A right?. Its a neat function, but have not focused on it. Mines coming with the 801A.

Yeah, but I already have FORScan, so the programming is free.

I do want to get another fob though to use as a MyKey. I can re-enable it then.

It's already set up like that from the factory.
