I saw a Gen 3 Raptor on the road earlier today that the brake lights would strobe super fast twice (I think) before they stayed on solid. Does anyone know how or what device is required to accomplish this?

Have you even searched this on Google, perhaps? There are in-line devices you can splice, there's specialty LED's that you could replace, etc. Lots of different options.I saw a Gen 3 Raptor on the road earlier today that the brake lights would strobe super fast twice (I think) before they stayed on solid. Devices out there do indeed discriminate between signals coming through for brake vs tail-lights, or turn signals. That's how we can have rear facing auxillary lighting adapted into the wiring for the truck and not have it throw codes or act erratically. All depends if you get the right thing or not, install it correctly or not, or understand how it's functioning.@swoop1156 No I have not EVEN searched this on Google. The issue with the in-line devices and the bulbs is that they don't discriminate between brake and turn signal because they use the same bulb. I don't want the bulbs to strobe during every interval of the turn signal flashing... I only want it when braking. What I saw on this truck was being controlled at the BCM level and/or similar.
@bclead Pics? Does the module flash just their brake light or also their taillights, if you have them? What you may have been seeing is the Morimoto Ford F-150 X3B 3rd Brake Light with their X3B Rapid-Flash module. Yesterday I installed it on my 2023 Raptor and I think that it looks great!!
