I'm getting new wheels and tires, but I'm not crazy about getting rid of my old ones (stock 2013 SVT 17" wheels with 35" BFG tires). I may sell them at sone point, but for now I want to keep them. I'm having them taken off leaving the tires mounted on the stock rims.

Where to store 5 big ass off road tires?

So the garage is a no go unless I put one of the cars out. The only place I have available is a small, uncovered patio. They will be exposed to the elements. The patio has grass.

Any suggestions on how I can best store them there without the elements damaging them?

You can put some of them under your raptor, that's what I do, I have 2 tires laying on the garage floor and have lots of clearance as I'm on top perch.

That's an interesting suggestion. Thanks. In my case it won't work because of the angle I have to enter my garage. I might be able to fit one though. Food for thought.

This may be a little off topic but I just put a second spare in my vertical tire rack and have been wondering how long you should leave them back there. I know the standard spare under normal trucks sit there for years. I wonder how much of the life of the tire is lost sitting out in the sun strapped in the back of the truck versus under the truck.

I think it's on topic. Based on the Tire Rack guidelines, the sun is a killer.
