Those that may be interested, I elected to get an RSI drop rack installed on the truck today. Surprisingly, at freeway speeds There is no detectable wind noise….unloaded. I do not know about loaded….yet. I just ordered the Pelican product above, hopefully it will meet my need.

Unless you have a cage behind the seats, don’t do it.
Everything stored there will be ballistic in a collision or roll over. Anything in your cabin that’s unsecured can launch in a collision but luggage would definitely fùck somebody up if it went flying.
I was just going to post similar. That's one thing I learned from accident scenes when I was a firemen, to be really careful about loose objects inside the vehicle that can kill you in a wreck.
