idk, I was going the Geiser route and talked out of it due to the springs being too stiff. So I went with rgp collars at 2.25" I agree completely with the OP. They rebound to quick for me. So, the fix is either step up to Fox aftermarket shocks, on order, or re-valve adding more rebound.

I am going back and forth between the 2.25" RPG collars and Geiser springs myself. Can anyone confirm the issue of the springs being too stiff when compared to the factory springs? I thought the consensus was the progressive springs rode better than stock, not the other way around. (Rebound issues with the RPGs is a new issue I am just reading about today)

The extra upfront cost and installation charge for the Geisers is not an issue for me, but I do not want to go down the RPG route and then, swap to the springs later. (i.e. Pay twice to lift my front 2+ inches...)

I run the Geisers on my Gen 1 and my brother runs them on his Gen 2. We both love them. He started with RPG collars at the high range of settings (3"?) and thought it was an absolute nightmare to drive. At my recommendation, he picked up the Geisers and removed the shock collars was instantly in love with the truck again. I've driven his truck and I found the ride on 37s to be superb. To me, it felt very much like a stock Raptor, only better, because the nose dive is just too much stock.

I guess if you're coming straight from stock to Geisers they might seem stiffer but I can't confirm. I would think it might to some degree but again for most of us I think it would be an improvement.

The stance with Geisers and Deaver +3s is awesome.

I saw one picture of your brothers truck on another thread and I agree the stance looks very good from the side. :)

Do you have any pictures of his from the front or back so I can see how far his 0" offset Methods stick out? I am considering the same setup for my Gen 2, minus the white letter tires, as I prefer a black wall on a Magnetic truck.

Yeah I would go letters in on magnetic, as well.

Letters should always out on white, black, and AG, though. When you drive a Raptor, everyone is going to assume you are a ******, anyway. Might as well embrace it.

I agree! I have been driving my Gen 1 for 8 years with my Grabber Red Letters out! Everyone assumes I am an A** hole because of how loud my true duals and AFE CAI sound when I get on it! I am really going to have to find a solution for the Gen 2 exhaust note. Right now, the Flowmaster FX muffler replacement posted by Toadster has my vote as it has no drone and really growls when you want it.

Your brothers truck looks great and his pictures have convinced me to go down that route with my suspension and wheels/tires.

Wrong

what youre asking for makes no sense. the lift you got is from more spring tension. so anything that decreases the spring tension (preload) would allow the shock to lower back to its stock height.
So no. There is no way to lift the truck by making the spring stiffer and then put a softer spring on and expect it to stay lifted.
You would need an actual lift kit that moves the suspension mounting locations. But if youre going to do that you've completely defeated the purpose of the raptor.

You can increase height by either removing any compression from the spring (spacer increasing tension) and/or using a longer spring. You could probably even use a slighly softer but longer spring. Think of it this way - the stock spring is linear, so cutting it in half would lower front by that amount. Likewise, you could increase the length of the spring and it will increase hight without increasing tension, until limited by shock travel. When you hit the shock travel limit, same as a spring spacer.

Couple more pics.

I am talking to TMX and they are recommending the Deaver 3+ and RPG collars at 3" vs the Geiser springs for a leveled truck with 37s. He said most of his Raptor builds do not change the front springs unless they are also changing the front shocks. I know I have heard others make the same comment in other threads. He also mentioned there is a collar that goes up to 4" that he has used.

Can you describe the "absolute nightmare to drive" comment? Did he have his Deaver +3s on at the time? Did he get an alignment? I am trying to understand what your brother did not like and limit my cost of doing it twice.

TMX said they will do it either way, but in his opinion, there would be little to no difference between the two options ride and handling-wise.
