the stock boards work amazingly i peeked up under mine once and holy crap there were so many nasty dings and some pretty big scratches so if the stock boards weren't there im pretty sure most of those nasty dents would be in my doors and fenders. but wicked does make some pretty sweet running boards that seem to stick out like the stock ones and look pretty cool i might have them make me a pair that stick out as far as the stock ones do
