Thanks, that makes sense. What about an issue that requires them to reflash your truck due to an update from Ford? Does that mean they cannot overwrite the MPT part of the tune?

60-70 HP at the wheels translates to about ?? at the crank?

How much HP do you think the S&B adds?

Probly around 90-100. 25-30% lose thru drive train. Intakes wont give you much in hp numbers. 0-5 hp is what I see on the dyno lol. They do give you efficiency with air flow allowing the engine to run more efficient. You always have to remember with dyno numbers they are taking at WOT and most people always look at peak horse power. The real key is mid range power gains and driveability IMO. Thats were we live most of the time.

As far as the dealer and doing updates- If they are loading updates to the PCM or TCM you should flash it back to stock. Otherwise leave it. During diagnostics the tune wont effect anything. Every reflash resets the CAM memory in the pcm that is what the dealer can see

I will probably just do a tune then. Don't want to do mods that are easy to spot by the dealer.
