Yes sir, I figured you was talking about performance but I haven't seen anything I would change....unless I had a 5.4L and then I would entertain the idea of a supercharger. That or maybe some exhaust later on down the road.

yea...a supercharger is a nice option, but thats something i would look into after i pay the truck off.

but as of right now, i want to lean towards a nice dual exhaust system, otherwise, its really not worth doing anything else...JDM is suppose to come out with a kooks true dual exhaust system, but i havent heard anything in regards to since they mentioned it 2 months ago.

I will for sure wait though, would be nice.

You planning on doing any offroading with your dual exhaust system? If you are and you're going to encounter any rocks you might want to re-think your plan.

I modified my exhaust system after it was modified for me by the rocks in Death Valley. Of course my mods involved removing about 10-15 pounds of waste (dual tailpipe removed from above the rear axle on back).

i thought of that, and yes i will be doing offroading with my truck, as i currently do...i havent had any bad luck with rocks damaging my exhaust.

Thats actually a good idea, makes no sense to have it dual coming out of the muffler when it isnt dual coming out of the headers/cats. i wouldnt mind going to a muffler shop and installing a flowmaster 44 series muffler, but make it single in and single out at the muffler, especially if they arent coming out with any true dual exhaust system...

i know this is off topic, but do you have pics of your exhaust? got me thinking lol

Two things.
My stock filter did GREAT in Baja. While everyone else was cleaning theirs every morning, and were losing power on the course. We never even beat the silt out of mine.

Two.
I beat the crap out of my exhaust in Baja, the tips are smashed. I smashed the y-pipe on a rock. Any suggestions for a more off-road friendly exhaust?

Not only does that K&N filter allow a lil micro dust to pass but it also allows more heat and the oil takes life off your MAF sensor.

For clean weather and on pavement maybe the K&N would help.
But in poor weather and offroad I'm bet'n on a fresh....a FRESH paper filter ;)
