Hey guys - loving my new G2, but was VERY disappointed with the "premium" Sony audio system in the 802A. Really lame. It's a shame that Ford doesn't offer a kick-ass audio system option for an SVT vehicle like this (I know, I know - this is an off-road truck - but who doesn't want to blast some ACDC while screaming across the Baja ?!!)
So... I decided to do something about it. My Raptor underwent a major audio transformation last week.
Many thanks to Matt at Luxury Details in MA for an outstanding professional install. Very clean install - can’t even tell anything was done to the interior.
Got to keep all the functionality of the stock head unit and the best part is that all the components were installed behind the rear seats with no encroachment on my limited Scab floor space !!
Components:
Complete project was just under $6k and took 4 days of installation.
I know this price tag might be high for some, especially on top of what we paid for our Raptors, but now I feel I have a kick-ass audio system worthy of being in this Beast !!
