Have torn boots with Rpg tie ride because the bolt on the yoke rubs on the boot from the inside. I will be replacing them with some rubber dirt bike fork tube protectors. After I replace my rack

Had the same issue with my OEM boots at only 1000 miles. Not sure why they do that.....

my theory is that it has to do with the hard plastic like boot from the factory and after being exposed to heat and the weather they get brittle and start to crack when you go turn. that's why i replaced mine when i put on my rpg tie rods with some nice soft thick rubber boots!
