The entire 3.5 ecoboost community knows how to solve misfires- I am sorry if you are too lazy to research this for yourself. The many owners that came before you have good knowledge - draw from that. Evidently many here didn't research the ecoboost before buying.
For me, I had a few work trucks for the business that I bought as ecoboosts. Terrible decision as they all experienced misfire and the various other ecoboost specific problems. I unloaded all of them and replaced with 5.0. I am down to one ecoboost and it is as problematic as the others I had. I can't unload the stupid thing. I do have a 6.2 Raptor and that has been the most bulletproof truck I have ever owned. It has been awesome!

There is no way that you could either own, run or participate in a business and post on FRF literally within minutes of any person reporting a problem on a 2017+ Raptor or other F150 forums, so your credibility is just less than nothing. You get caught making stuff up, taking posts out of context, using multiple accounts to “echo” your misleading, false narrative and more and more people wise up.

It’s entirely likely at this point in your psychosis that you actually believe your own lies and half truths and that is truly dangerous.
You need psychiatric help and now.

What are these "fake" accounts???

What have I made up??? Seriously, disprove anything I have said.

I am here to help - many here are CRAZY not to take this advice and LEARN for themselves.

You have been hawking a warranty compromising, unsubstantiated rumor to fix a “problem” that isn’t even known to exist in the 2017+ Raptors. You’ve used every opportunity to spread this false narrative, sometimes replying within 3 minutes of someone reporting a problem. You’ve yet to substantiate this assertion with any level of proof.

This is lying, at its base level. Many have pointed out your persistent dishonesty, some have even wished you harm.

I have more than once suggested you seek professional help for your disorder and reiterate that you need to get professional medical help for your condition.

Squatch- for what it is worth I would avoid playing the games of the sensitive GEN2 owners. Most of them were taken to the cleaners in the pursuit of the hype with this new truck. You don't need to explain yourself to these wannabes.

The overly sensitive nature of owning a GEN2 has me worried. Is this what I will become everytime something bad is said about my truck? Kick me if I do please.

Thanks to your insight and "Trolling" I have been able to make the decision I need for my personal vehicle purchases and my business from both sides of the fence. As well as being entertained in the process! Those who understand the mechanics of this motor get your point. Sad but true this is the future of trucks as we know it and fine tuning will be a must to overcome the almighty EPA.

2018- GEN2 SCAB on order! $2500 below MSRP. Thanks to all who have provided insight good and bad. And a very special thanks to those who paid MSRP+. You got ripped off :)

Weep hole here I come!

Name 1 occurrence of ANYONE having a warranty denied for the weep hole in the intercooler.

What proof do you need that shows the weep hole in the intercooler corrects the condensate problem? I have shown you the forum stickies with loads of proof.

What proof do you have that there is a condensation problem in the new 2017+ 3.5L raptor ecoboost? None. Nada. Zero. I guess you have not heard that this engine is a completely new redesign. The only thing it shares with the previous 3.5L is the displacement.

Proof - many here and across the web complaining about the 17+ 3.5 ecoboost misfires. This intercooler still gets tons of oil in it, and the intercooler still produces condensate. This intercooler is the same design as the previous. These are the inherent design issues that they carried over.

Show me one truck with a weep hole that had warranty denied.

You are trying to derail this whole thread dude. Par for you though.

Here, lets put some facts out there.

https://youtu.be/tkScQN7fxGg

This video discusses the differences in the new 3.5L ecoboost. Direct from Jim Mazuchowski- Ford's V6 engine manager. Pretty sure he knows more about these than anyone else on this site, or any other really. The video is 9+ minutes long, but the second half of it is about the 10 speed transmission. You only have to watch about the first 2 minutes to hear that this whole engine is completely different from the past generation ecoboosts. Your arguments are all based on the first gen ecoboost's problems, so stop trying to imply they are relevant here. They are not.

And tying back to the original intent of this thread, the cam drive system has been redone on this new ecoboost, so any problems the previous gen ecoboost had due to that old system is not a carry over here to this current platform.
