The Ford F-150 Raptor was an exciting platform when it first debuted for the 2017 model year. Since then, COBB has come a long way in the research and development process. Initial support started with a tune using the Accessport. This introduced custom features such as Dynamic Pedal Control and Auto Start Stop Adjustment along with providing significant power gains over the factory calibration. Unfortunately the factory components just weren’t cutting it for additional power gains. Today, we’re excited to announce the release of our full Stage 2 and Stage 2+ Power Packages that maximize the potential for your 2017-18 F-150 Raptor! Let’s take a look at each COBB Power Package and the additional parts now available for the Gen 2 Raptor!

Stage 2

The Stage 2 Power Package combines the world's best selling, most flexible ECU upgrade solution, the COBB SF Intake system, and the COBB Front Mount Intercooler in your choice of black or silver! The intake system can be installed in minutes with simple hand tools. The Intercooler does require some minor trimming to the back side of the grille but is also a straight forward installation. Once you've got the parts in place, the Accessport can be used to flash the Stage 2 map and you're off! The Stage 2 map is included with the Accessport at no additional cost and includes the same great features present on our initial release. If you already had the Accessport and are adding parts, you can get the new Off The Shelf maps through a Firmware update.

Stage 2+

The Stage 2+ Power Package includes everything in the Stage 2 Power Package but adds the COBB Downpipes. The COBB 3" Catted Downpipes are built with mandrel bent 3" stainless steel and high flow 4" GESI catalytic converters. The COBB downpipes open up exhaust flow from both turbos on the powerful 3.5 EcoBoost and are designed to bolt up to the factory cat-back exhaust. The COBB Downpipe kit offers tangible improvements in style and durability, and makes turbo noise more audible, all while maintaining an OEM level of fitment and ease of use.

Off the Shelf Maps
Stage 2 maps are also available which are compatible with the new parts. These maps can be downloaded directly from the cobbtuning.com or had through a firmware update shown below.

Front Mount Intercooler

The COBB Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) for your F-150 Raptor is the easiest way to drastically improve power when coupled with tuning from the V3 Accessport. Available in Black or Silver, the much larger 24" wide x 14" tall x 3.5" thick core produces a significant volume increase compared to stock, resulting in minimal pressure drop despite the significant increase in size. It maintains a 92% intercooler efficiency up to redline.

Downpipes

Ditch those restrictive factory pipes and grab the COBB 3" Catted Downpipes for the 2017+ Ford Raptor! Built with mandrel bent 3" Stainless Steel and high flow 4" GESI cats. The COBB downpipes open up exhaust flow from both turbos on the powerful 3.5 EcoBoost and are designed to bolt up to the factory cat-back exhaust. The COBB Downpipe kit offers tangible improvements in style and durability while maintaining an OEM level of fitment and ease of use.

Accessport Mount

Even great things can be improved. Although there are already a few mounting options offered for the F-150 Raptor none of them are as quite robust as this! Regardless of the terrain or workout you're putting your Raptor through, you can hoon assuredly the Accessport will stay in place. The mount fastens to the A-pillar which offers a solid mounting point. This location is in an ideal line of sight over the top left of the steering wheel but out of the way of the air vent, cluster, and windshield.

Filter Sock

After some of the more adventurous R&D this part was introduced. If you're pushing the truck in an off-road setting, especially the sand, the intake box can pick up quite a few particulates. While the filter does do an excellent job of preventing this matter from entering the intake tract, this sock provides an extra layer of protection. It's also a lot easier to remove and clean than the filter itself. The sock is form-fitted to the COBB intake system filter and secured with an elastic band.

The million dollar question is power difference between 2 and 2+ since the only hardware difference is the down pipes.

The downpipes do not add any power. You'd use the same Stage 2 maps with or without them installed.

Do you have any further power upgrades in development or is Stage2 the end of the Cobb roadmap for the Raptor?

Can a turbo smart blow off valve be used on the intercooler or is made to fit only the stock bov? Also would the bov be mounted low or high?
