The camouflage is covering up the new V8 sound generator as Ford has finally listened to the Gen 1'ers who threatened to never buy another Raptor as long as it's missing that all-important V8 sound.

It is clearly a 3cyl diesel hybrid. Look at the fuel door. It says diesel right in plain sight. The tailgate mask is to cover the new Hybrid emblem.
