Anyone running these plugs, how do they perform?

You need a really good ignition system to take advantage of them, you won't see any gains with the stock coils

You can never go wrong with a set of NGKs. Remember, the entire purpose of a spark plug is to provide a gap. No need to go crazy and spend all your money on plugs. Not yet anyways. Unless MSD makes some multi-spark coils for our rigs.

They still make Splitfire plugs?

Anyhow, these are more of a gimmick than anything else. The spark will always flow to the closest post and never both. As for gains, the Federal Trade Commission charged Splitfire with "deceptive marketing practices" in a 1997 lawsuit, and legal documents found that drivers do not experience an increase in fuel efficiency when using Splitfire plugs. I believed they compared their plugs with worn out plugs.

My best advice is a set of NGK plugs...keep in mind th gains are probably still going to be marginal and your factory plug are goo or 100,000 miles. I figured I'll replace mine about 70k.

I agree on the NGK's. Be careful believing big claims on stuff like spark plugs, they don't tell you things like "your truck was designed with just enough spark for the tuning it was delivered with from the factory". I can provide a quote on the NGK's if you like.

Go with "no good kind" (NGK), your computer in your truck is adjusting f/A and so many other aspects from the old school days without CPU. Save your coins....
