Here's a Special Edition poster to commemorate the event:
I don't get why everyone is mad and was expecting this to be a pre runner or have a 600 hp engine. Dont forget this is Ford. And they do have to abide by the strict DOT laws and rules..plus they said it was a raptor SE. Not Raptor R or anything. Mike even came and basically told us what it was going to be and yet yall are mad at Ford? I don't get it..maybe there will be some changes in 2015 or whenever the next raptor is introduced but who knows
It's no BFD. Ford got some pub for the Raptor and will (1) sell some more units because of it and (2) make some extra $$$ so it's a win-win for them.
If Raptor owners don't buy them Ford really couldn't care since they already got our money and they will get more of it eventually.
I'm going out on a limb here, but I wonder how long those bead locks will be back ordered on the 14 SE?
Those "bead locks" will be on back order until people start posting their experiences with them and how they're "mud collectors" that cause owners fits because the wheels/tires weigh a helluva lot more with all that mud and debris in them (and they're a pain in the ass to clean out on the trail).

Here's USA Today's take on the news about Ford's Special Edition Raptor (and yet another reason why newspapers are so last century)...

I like what Ford did. If Toyota can do it with Tundra's, Taco's, 4Runners and FJ's, Ford has every "right" to do it.
And I like how the pics are only of SCab versions
