focal still has a reasonably priced line of speakers. along with jl audio. those are my top 2 choices for a good speaker for cost/performance

focal krx2 retail for $1200 a pair. but these also will need a sound processor and amp to get the sound they were designed for. if you are interested, you can pm me for pricing on a package.

quick question from a perspective buyer: is it worth getting the luxury package from the factory? or would you go with a base model and set up all the electronics yourself? i mean, if i'm willing to drop $10 grand or something, can i get a better infotainment set-up after market?

unfortunately the options are pretty much all or nothing. the 801a covers everything from heated andcooled seats, remote start, navigation and audio system, along with a lot of other options. the question is, do you want all the other features? if you get the base model, you are buying a new head unit rather than a sound processor, most likely get the same amps, same speakers and same sub as you upgrade. so if you dont mind not having the other features in the 801a and want to build your system, you do save money on the features you didnt purchase from ford.
