Will spacers or new springs stiffen up the front end a bit if installed? 2020. I know it will do a 2 inch or so lift. The wife just took a test ride in one and thought it was too loose. She comparing it to my truck now. I know I did a 2 inch level lift in the one I have now and it stiffened it up. Figured I’d kill 2 birds with one stone. Thanks

Oh boy.....since the shocks are so soft & a tucked up “long travel” (compared to a normal 1/2 ton) suspension the rear squats a good bit w/ any weight or when towing. There are companies that make adjustable perch collars (that allow you to raise the front end like 1”-2.5” or something check out a vendor website like offroad alliance or Apollo optics- but the drawbacks to those are that they tend to put the A-arms @ odd angles causing premature wear on ball joints/bearings & may require you to check the alignment more often.

the better choice & potentially a little more $$ would be swapping out the front springs for geiser or eibach leveling springs- geisers are stiffer & more $$$ but they’re a progressive spring & will be better for hardcore off-roading stiffer on street (than stock or eibachs).

eibachs will be stiffer than stock on street but not terribly so - they’ll perform better offroad slightly esp by adding more ground clearance, but since they’re not progressive rate like stock/geisers the rebound effect may be More pronounced when running offroad back to back jumps - ie: “woops” - but Will corner/handle/brake better on street.

then additionally for big $$$$ you can jump up to adjustable fox/king/ etc adjustable 3.0 shocks - you can leave rear shocks stock w/ upgraded fronts or match w/ upgraded Rears too

HOWEVER due to the aforementioned soft stock suspension any amount you raise the front cause the rear squat/sag nose high stance to be more common & more pronounced whenever you are towing or have even a nominal amount of weight in bed.

sooo - you have to spend around $1200-1500 on a set of deaver or icon rear leaf springs that will eliminate the factory leaf blocks (that are already taller than standard f150 but the tucked in effect of the raptor setup makes this less evident) in order to keep the rear from extreme squat w/ weight in bed or towing + these springs have the added benefit of eliminating a lot of The “axle wrap” or “wheel hop” you may experience under acceleration on uneven surface on or offroad or when taking a sweeping corner & hitting expansion joint & feel ass end “skip out” on ya- helps get rid of a lot of that.

Then you gotta adress the lack of blocks w/ some new bump stops in even you exercise suspension to full limits don’t wanna bottom out- so then you have a ton of options in that regard that range from a few hundred to nearly $2k lol- gonna need to think about how you’ll use the truck in reality & then pick your mods from there. It’s gonna cost $2500 or so anyhow between leafs/front end height install & alignment to raise a raptor correctly

Raptor tax baby!!!

Change of plans. Been driving in the new truck for 1300 miles and am very happy with the way it rides. Stock it is. Thank you.

WHEN you get bored. Tried Geisers and found too rough. Ditched them after 1600miles and went with Camburg 1.5” spacers. Ride stiffness compared to stock is hardly noticeable, and only with body roll.
