Guys if you are planning on going I highly suggest some sort of VHF radio for the trip. A Marine Handheld will actually work since all of mine are programmed for the marine frequencies. Communications on these trails are essential. I have a few handhelds I can loan out too.

WHAT? My CB won't get me through the one day ride? HAhahaaa. I have a pair of those Midland 20- mile range radios I bought for TRR. Will they do as far as frequencies?

Negative. I have 3 marine handhelds and 2 VHF handhelds I can loan out.

I have a marine, but not handheld. I'll keep a lookout for something between now and then.

Well I will be glad to borrow one for the day we make the ride. Do I need a SHITPOT of batteries? Can't ya just stuff me between Raptors with radio's? Are you sill plannibf on having someone run interfearance so we do not have to back down a mountain?

I'll be in a SCREW. We'll be fine (minus a little Colorado pin striping to buff out when you get home).
