Well, its too bad that today's meet up was a bust. I was hoping to put some faces to our fake names, but i guess the 115 degree heat kept people away. I did meet Bad454S, and I can tell you, he has 1 Bad Ass Raptor. If I follow him on the trail, I'll be backing off out of roost range!!

Well Az Gang, lets try to put one together again when the Sun isn't blazin, maybe with a run too.

Unfortunately I couldn't make it down for the meet, I had family in town. I think we need to set a time a couple months in advance so people can schedule around the meet as opposed to a week or 2 notice. I think that's what killed the meet not the heat. I've had experience coordinating huge car meets/runs(200+ cars) and it's all about giving people time to prepare and having all the details worked out in advance so people know exactly what to expect.

If people are up for doing a northern AZ cruise in say, August/September I'd be more than happy to help with setting one up. For the amount of raptors I see in AZ we should be able to get more than 4-5 of us together for a run and meet!!

Yuma, AZ here... ALWAYS looking for someone else to go out to the Wash with. I don't know many trails but Fortuna Wash is a blast to crawl. We usually bring the quad and a few guns to go pew pew with as well. I know the Jeep crowd goes out about every other week or so but the mountains trails they go on are pretty serious. If your ever in Yuma on a Sunday morning, stop over at the Coffee Bean of 4th and 24th around 08-09. Yuma Cars and Coffee!

Lets try this again

Well Desert dogs, Labor day is here and that means we're in our last HOT month in the Az Desert. How Bout we plan something for Late September, early October? Hard to coordinate free time, schedules, LIFE in general, so a month out should give us some time to put SOMETHING together. Since October is prime time here, we have options. Maybe just a meet up, or some trail runs? OR a meet up to plan some trail runs?? Something simple like Lake Pleasant to Prescott via Senator hwy for example.

Thoughts, suggestions? Lets get it done this time, eh?

October meeting

I'm up for a meeting or even an easy run up Senator trail. Lets see if we can get a few others too.

Maybe meet up and do a lunch someplace near by the lake then head out up the trail to Prescott, then back to the valley via Hwy 69 to I-17. Just an idea.

We did that run last winter, but through Bumble Bee. Pretty easy and a relaxing drive. Did the section from Lake Pleasant through Castle Hot Springs many times on dirt bikes, and it should be easy enough in a Raptor too. Im IN.
