Some of the best areas are just state and county trails, old logging roads, and water management roads. They are all public access roads and go on for miles and miles.

How do we go about finding these roads? In the event my truck ended up in cape coral....

Yea..is there an area you suggest? I live in a very small town in the middle of nowhere. I can get away with turning into a old logging road and 4x4n like crazy. Doubt that's acceptable in most places :)

Skyl3r while looking on google earth it looks like the everglades area and the punta gorda outskirts are pretty good. I've heard of the Ocala area being good too.. I will be checking these places out when I ever do get my truck down here.. Hard to justify when I can fly in a couple hours though.
