Sound System Upgrade Help

I am in the process of upgrading my sound system and I am still trying to figure out my amp configuration. Here is what I have so far

NAV Zen A2B
Front speakers - Focal ES 165 KX3E 3 way components
Rear speakers - Focal EC 165 KE coaxials
SGS Subwoofer
Amplifier is Audison Forza AF M5.11 bit 5 channel

My biggest question is do I need to bi-amp the Focal 3 ways up front or can I just run 2 channels upfront and 2 channels to the rear and 1 to the sub. Do I need another amp with this?

if u r not going to run active ,its kind of a waste of a 3 way front ,i would go with a component 2 way active lose the rears .

I want to run active. So I guess I just need to add a 4 channel amp. Then I can run separate channels to each set.

Tough one... Bi-Amp will at least give you some control over the mid/tweeter where a 4-channel you are limiting yourself. If you go with a 4-channel for front/rear, it would be nice to have a lot of power... 125wrms+ per front channel. Possibly take 4 channels and bridge it down to feed the front and get another 2-channel for the rear. Also, the FRAK tweeter MUST be on-axis in this kit, it's the only Focal tweeter that has this requirement, every other tweeter loves off-axis.

is the NAV ZEN A2B only compatible with the B&O system? this is what ChatGPT tells me, and says that for my 2017 Raptor with the Sony system, i would either need the PAC AmpPRO AP4-FD21 or the JL Audio FiX-82. can anyone weigh in on this?

yes, zen is only compatible with bo. you can use the pac, but their quality has gone downhill and i dont trust them anymore. you can try the jl audio if you want. when the sony system first came out, there were no products available so we would high level the front door woofers and tweeter signal directly into a processor such as the mosconi or hertz audison. just needs to be tuned properly. not a lot of shops are expierenced enough to tune, however more and more shops are finally turning towards it. you might be lucky and have a shop near you who knows how to tune properly

I am running a similar set up and chose to use a Passive / active set up. I am using passive crossovers but preactively filtering. There are probably a few things I would do different if I started over. I look forward to seeing your set up when done.
