Dan just replied via PM over there so here's the short version of the story:

1) Dan, a moderator at SVTOffroad, discovered this forum last night and created a username with our URL in it.

2) He created a post (I think?) that was sarcastic and a bit derogatory in nature here.

3) He later tried to log in and delete it, however the mods here had already jumped on it, deleted it and banned him (rightfully so).

4) Bo sends us a PM at SVTO, extending the benefit of the doubt to Dan asking for an explanation before blowing up (like he might rightfully have done, but didn't which I sincerely appreciate)

5) I replied to Bo, explaining there must be a good reason for all of this (since Dan is very very VERY aware that sort of thing aint what SVTO is about. Did I mention that he's VERY aware?).

6) I come here, to extend an apology on behalf of SVTO. Regardless of Dan's (I sincerely hope benign) intentions, I understand how it comes off... and I want you guys to know that it aint ok, and that it won't happen again if I have anything to say about it.

So that's the end of the story as far as you're all concerned. I, obviously, still have some ground to cover, but that will be handled between Dan and myself.

Hope that helps clear all this up. No more drama... I'm gonna have that tattooed on my freaking forehead!

For what its worth, Dan is no longer a staffer at SVTO. He's still a very important member, and I still call him "friend"... I do hope our friendship can survive this. But ultimately this is a business decision, and as "the boss" (yay me! ) parting ways as staffers is the best decision for all involved.
