Interesting products. Am I the only one who doesn't drop the skid plate to change the oil? I just reach down from the engine compartment, put the filter wrench on, then reach in from the driver side wheel well and unscrew. (All after placing an ample supply of rags on the skid plate and below the filter.)

How long does it take to drain 7 qts. of oil through that small little hose?

I guess I don't understand the purpose for this??

The drain plug is at the back of the drain pain unobstructed by the skid plate. The oil filter is what is obstructed by the skid plate. I guess I don't see how this will help. Perhaps I am looking at it wrong.

You guys missed the part about the ADDITIONAL after market skid plate.

Joe, is this the correct size?
M14 x 1.5 x 12mm

This is what I found…

I looked up the part number for the oil drain pan plug on tasca.

http://www.tascaparts.com/ford/f-15...e-cat/engine-parts-scat/?part_name=drain-plug

The drain plug part number is:
F75Z-6730-BA

Now, the description is very generic.

I then searched the interwebs for a better description of that part number… I found this:

This drain plug features a 14mm Hex head with a thread pattern of M14-1.5 thread pitch.

From this website:
http://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-engine-oil-drain-plug-4-6l-1996-2009/p/HW1780/

Conclusion:
The stahlbus Oil Drain Valve M14x1.5x12mm, steel (set), part number SB-210211-S-NA will fit with no issue.

You can purchase the item through Amazon with free shipping (does not require a Prime membership).

You said you purchased it, so assume that you bought that one and still waiting for it to arrive?

It looks like I bought the last one from that seller on Amazon so the link that Yukon Joe has will default to another version to the drain valve that is not the one we need. These can be bought from stahlbus US below same price but + shipping

Change oil - clean and simple.
