I dont have the option to connect to my home wifi or any other wifi network. Is there any way to activate with forscan?

i dont have att hotspot here in south america and i want to know if its possible to activate to search wifi and try to update my sync4 .

If you’re familiar with using FDRS, then there is a way. You’re gonna need a laptop &……you guessed it, a Wi-Fi connection (or a really long Ethernet cord). So this puts you back at square 1…no Wi-Fi connection.

i asked to dealer here in Argentina and they say they see the update for my truck and thet can update but i need go to dealer.

This will be your best bet for now.

I can do this week that but i want to have the option to connect to my home wifi for next updates .

i think that maybe the Wifi its not activated yet for Argentina. someone know where can i try to modified and activate with forscan?

These updates can’t be accomplished via Forscan. However, a member here (a few pgs back) has successfully done them via FDRS.

I picked up (new to me - Only 5K miles) 2021 Raptor a few days ago from the dealer and they assured me everything was up to date... I did double check the software update and says i have the latest update / no software to update... I am hoping I will get his full screen apple car play soon.....

FINALLY... out of the blue my software just updated...I think it updated a week ago before this post. I honestly thought i would never get the full screen Car Play. I just happened to notice a full screen button in the upper left.... so much better!

I have 7/9 of my cars on the NOCO battery tender hooked directly to the battery posts. Works awesome for tending and charging if need be. NOCO jump pack is insane.

How did you install the battery tender? More specifically, how have you secured the wires and charger so they’re not flapping around while you drive?

I just put the clamps on the posts. Then take them off when I drive the cars. The clamps are super slim so you can lay them down on top of the battery and close the hood if you like.
