I went to pass a car to get into the turn lane, and it died at the light.
Started right back up and then the knocking sound from under the hood.
I drove it about 100 foot to get out of the road and parked it and called the tow truck.
Previous owner was a Coast guard officer who bought it new, (not likely and officer from Miami coast guard trashed it ).
How ever i was able to get a look at the entire history from Ford including all the warranty work. The truck ran with out issues until it hit 65,809 miles on her.
New motor from dealer, than again at 66,281? new motor??
in between they also had a break issue and new everything all around , courtesy of Ford.
Even bigger issue is NONE OF THIS was on the CarFax, and i called them and emailed them to ask why (so much for buying with confidence)
Any warranty or service work done at the dealer should be on or reported in the system, Unless Ford or the dealership didn't want to report it???
I would like to call Ford customer service and see what they have to say about this (will probably give that a try next week).
