Just got off the phone with Kirk - RaptorAddict and pulled the trigger on the 2.5lb HalGuard and a 10 lb. Power Tank. I've been using a little Air Compressor lately but the Power Tank should be where it's at.

Anything you guys need for the run, Kirk will most likely have you covered! :peace:

To start with, does anyone use a small nitrogen bottle for their air up supply. Seems it would be an easy convert to a stepped down pressure using a regulator. Just a thought.

My list I have now that I bought for this event:

First Aid Kit. $ 35.00
Fire Ext. $ $35.00
Helmet, will use on bikes as well. $ 54.00 Shipped.

I plan on buying a large Plastic / Structural Foam Tool Box to put EVERTHING IN and strap it in the bed. $ 50.00

The rest is just grub, beer, deisel for my buddy pulling his Travel Trailer and his costs and fuel. I plan on borrowing anything I have forgotten from one of the more PREPARED persons! Ahhahaaaa.

Oh and a C B Antenna, the glass mount type. $25.00. It will work well enough for the CONVOY I hope. They have very limited range. It worked well on the FX4.

Thats it. I am sure there is a Walmart within 25 miles if we need anything else. HAhahaa.

So I have $200 in stuff just for this event. Thats cheap enough. All in all I will prolly spend a grand that week fuel, raffles, food and all. WELL WORTH IT!

I made one with a 10lb bottle and a nitrogen regulator. I am switching to a fixed 150psi CO2 regulator and CO2 bottle. I can get aluminum CO2 bottles at the local welding supply, but not nitrogen. I used a kiddie 20lb fire extinguisher mount for the bottle. Need a 20lb for a 10lb bottle.

The 10lb PT was the right choice, I had the 15lb and it was cumbersome in size and heft.
