I figured I would start this thread as a way people can share what they are buying, installing and bringing to the raptor run in april. My hope is that some people will see a couple things on someone else's list and it will help them remember to have that done to their truck, or pick up an item that will help them have a good time or be more comfortable for the event.

For instance-

Oil change
ICOM radio installed
Handheld Yaesu
Handheld Woxon
Yeti cooler- 75 qt
Fire extinguisher
Warn VR10000-s with wireless controller
Outback air system
perch adjustment

Next week is the RV shakedown since we will be at the Texas Mile in Beeville. If you are in the area, come see us! We will be at about the 3/4 mile near the end of the RV row. (I will be there 1st or 2nd in line to get our spots, but you dont want the very end spots- Port -o- potties are rank by the end of the weekend)

Wheels if the they get here in time

Just threw on a Rigid 20" LED

Snagged a few GoPro Hero2's

Thinking about the DMH cutout to sound more "Trophy Truck" while we tear ass around the track

VisionX 4500 HiD's on the Outlaw windshield mounts

Maybe a new Yeti ice chest to replace the one I had stolen last year

That's really it.

Tejas I can't wait to see how those lights look on the hood in person. I am thinking about add some HID's up there for long range, as I already have a good spread of light from my 40" bar.

Cut the frame off at the cab, tube framed the rear section of the truck, caged the interior of the truck, fiberglass fenders, 37" wheels, another beadlock wheel + tire, King 3.0's with triple bypass and long travel system.

Just little things.

My ongoing prep.

My suggestions would include.

Crawl all under the truck to check for leaks, loose bolts, things hanging that aren't supposed to be.

Make sure your tiedown method will hold up.

Check all fluids.

Have a method to air back up if you plan to air down (which I suggest). The buddy method works great here.

Make sure you have a way to secure everything in cab.

Retighten any aftermarket junk you installed. It will be loose.

That's what I have for the moment. Notice most of it didn't involve buying anything new.
