I cant agree more with what Bojangles and MarkT has stated so far..

I also get bored talking about this very same subject...but yes, i too was able to compare both..drove both..and i couldnt tell much of a difference offroad..people will think im full of **** cause i own a 5.4..but i dont work for ford nor do i get any benefits by boosting my trucks engine...im keeping it regardless, and its not making me any money in the long run.

its the suspension that holds these trucks true...i mean you can see it in the movies, reviews and so on...all they talk about is how they devoted countless hours at anza to get an accurate assessment on durability and the trucks suspension..

the engine is probably a mute point when you actually list what they did to this truck...the list is longer than any lightning to date! JMHO
