So dealer calls me today....

So dealer calls me today.. and says he can order a 2013 and sell for invoice...and would take about 8 weeks to take delivery.

but I will be needing a car after a month..and dont think I can wait for the 2013 to get here..

should I go ahead and get the 2012 ?

I do like the 2013 interior.. but who knows it will take 8 weeks or 16 weeks..

btw, YES U CAN GET A DISCOUNT ON RAPTORS..well now u can..since 2013's are coming out.. USE TRUECAR.COM (car has to be on dealers lot)

I called and confirmed.. just make a account and print out the coupon thing..

average savings $2700 but dealer has to be a member on that site..

What should I do.. I dont have anyone that car let me borrow a car.. rental can get pricey..

This is too funny. I'm in the same boat just sold my duramax and now get to borrow my sisters cavalier while she's away at school till my truck gets here...don't judge me hah. Go the '13 I did...updated interior, backup sensors, my ford touch just to name a few new goodies.

I'm in the same boat. Sold my 99 Honda cause the price was right, before I ordered my 2013. Ended up buying what is the european equivalent of a 95 Infiniti G20 for $800, no AC, no radio, stick shift with a burned out clutch and 180,000 miles. As long as it lasts until the truck arrives I don't give a FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK!!!!

If you have the cash laying around look at a cheap POS you can drive. But go for the 13!!!

I ended buying a Raptor 2012 this week, the majority of the dealers in south Florida were saying that if you place the order now, it will arrive around December or January, in my case, i was looking for a black supercab, and it took me a couple of weeks to find it, most dealers has supercrews, ended up calling the Ford Marketing department that indicated to me where might find the raptor I was looking for, and I ended up buying one outside of Florida. On the 2013 the only diference will be the HID, the center lcd screen and the ac panel, the new wheels are not available yet and may delay your order.

Get the 13 and go buy yourself a <$1000 craigslist beater to last you until it arrives.



Edit: Then just trade said beater in when the Raptor arrives and recoup some of your money! lol.
