$2000 over MSRP! I'd tell Theodore Robins to shove it in their A** and walk away.

:hmmm2:

Hmmm that's odd. I called and left a message for her and got a return call from one of the internet managers asking me to come in and do paperwork. I wasn't offered to do the deal over the phone. Was also initially quoted 2k OVER MSRP for the order. Are you guys ordering from her getting the friend hookup or something?

Btw... Once it was realized you were referred by me through FRF, didnt they shave $2,500 off your initial quote? Also, I was informed you requested to come in personally so you could review the order guide?

I'm trying to hook you guys up as best I can but keep in mind these special orders are cutting into their retail allocation where they can get a minimum of $5K over sticker all day long right off the lot.

I might just stick to hooking up my friends instead of random forum members because it's not worth seeing my in-laws dealership getting bashed. This last paragraph is more so directed at RAPTORSV, not you estrader.

Hi Raptizzle,

I appreciate the info you posted and to help getting members fair deals on these cars. I certainly was excited to see your post and it prompted me to call. i was slightly disappointed when i got the msrp deal minus 500. (not extremely familiar with raptor deals specifically but Ive read people getting 500-1000 over invoice, and all cars I've ever bought i paid invoice or lower for so i was hoping for a bit more than just 500 off msrp)

No, i was not offered anything close to 2500 off. I just want to get the deal that everyone else is getting and fair and equal treatment. That would be awesome. Maybe it wasn't clear to them that you made the referral? I just told them i was a forum member and that's how i heard about them. I also didn't get to deal with Nicole specifically, and i read other reviews online about how she was great and kept the lines of communication open all times with updates and such.

Id appreciate it if you could still help me get this 2500 off deal. Id sign right away. They told me to come in to login to show im a forum member or bring a copy of my username or something. I told them I would, but there wasn't an offer of doing everything over the phone/email. I was excited to read that everyone who dealt with Nicole had a great experience and i wanted that too. and to tell my story after taking delivery. Thanks bud.

She's gonna call you today ES. One of the reasons why she had a salesman call you was because in your message to her, you said that you wanted to buy a truck (not specifically a raptor). She is only dealing with Raptor customers as a favor for me as selling cars is not her day to day duties.

The $2,500 figure I threw out previously pertained to the $2K over sticker price you were initially quoted and then they took $2500 off of that to get you to $500 under sticker.

No need to prove you're a forum member anymore as you are on her radar now.

The days of invoice pricing or anywhere near invoice pricing is over in these high demand raptor markets. Ford is really not giving a high enough allocation to dealers so they can't order a bunch of special orders that they can really deal on yet still retain their token retail orders where guys come off the street and pay way over sticker. Guys getting those types of deals are in places like the Midwest or back east where they litterally sit on their inventoried raptors and just need to move units.

Hope everything works out for ya man...

Sorry I didn't mean to bash anyone's family. Speaking for myself and no one else, I personally would keep looking to get a better deal, there are still dealers out there willing to deal, there are literally hundreds of Ford dealers in California. For $4000 - $5000, I would take a few days and starting phoning. I know you can find dealers all day long for $500 under MSRP, that's nothing. Especially in California where tax and license will add another 10% to the price of the truck out the door.

not that i have any reason to chime in but i guess its my 2nd Raptor Duty and Charlie and his wife (who i have never met either in person) helped me...

I have bought a TON of cars. over and Under MSRP in fact my 2013 Super Duty i just bought i paid "sticker" because the dealer had to order from another dealer and had to have it shipped in...You cant always get lucky.

Ford is the lucky bastard on this one with Raptor.....every manufacture has that "one"car that allows for them to sell over MSRP. I know first hand when the demand is high the the supply is low...People will pay a premium for ANYTHING.

in Fact my uncles owned a so cal competing ford dealer and i didn't even attempt call them when TR Nicole returned my call in less then 24 hours, took my info over the phone, emailed me the build sheet, told me the deal with no reason to go back and forth... i sent a copy of my drivers license to finalize it and yesterday i got the completed build paperwork that its in Fords System.

Hope you get the Truck you want. Call me when you need parts for it

I have been talking with Nicole for the last few days and trying to wrap my head around getting a new car. Yea not having car payments for 7 years has spoiled me. Nicole has been FABULOUS to work with. I think today I am calling in my payment and getting this thing on order.

Oh also called around and was talking with Rancho Ford and what a joke they are. They are ordering and if they get something you might want it is first come first served. MSRP for local people only and +$5k for everyone else.

Sorry not trying to hijack the thread but pointing out that -$500 is a good deal in SoCa and working with Great people means the world to me.
