Finalized my travel plans last night, will be leaving home Thursday at about 10am and meeting up with Mark and his co-pilot mid afternoon. Were we will head to the Detroit area, my father and I will be staying at the Hampton Inn in Birch Run, MI and should be there around 10pm. Then on Friday meet up with others to continue to SnoBall.

Timmy if you can get to the birch run area by 830 there should be a few trucks rolling out by 9. Just google the address for the holiday inn or hampton inn birch run. At minimum Scott an I will be there.

We are planning leaving my house in Ohio about 5:45 or so. That would put us in Birch Run about 9. Stick to your plan and we will ride together if we are there in time. If not, I don't want to hold anyone back and we will catch up. I will have the radio on to see if anyone is around.

What is the 5-0 situation normally like on 23 and 75? Don't drive crazy, just curious.

Hey guy's I posted in the Snowball thread that if anyone wants to stop by my house on the way up and hook up for a convoy it would be way cool...I'm just a few miles off 75...
I have a few Raptor folks that are coming in Thur's for a layover before we head out..also we still have room for a few more if you need to take a brake on your way threw on any day or spend the night....Please let me know...My home and shop are open to help.....

about 18-19 hours. My wife and I are going to make it a two day trip, stopping in Des Moines, IA.

If you don't mind adding 10 minutes to your drive, turn right onto Interstate 90 and you can pick me up at the Rochester, MN exit and you'll have company for about 5 hours or so...

I'm going 90 E to Tomah, WI and up to Wausau, Wi then north.

This could be for anyone coming north on I-35.

We are leaving from mid missouri

Can't wait! Looking for more people to convoy with from Kansas City area. Posted up in regional are too.

I'm a little late to this game, but two of us are coming up I-35 from Kansas City (*****, I believe you are the other guy, but I just realized I don't know your FRF name). We will be leaving from the Legends Shopping Center at 6am(ish) on Friday. This will put us in Des Moines around 930-10am (I'm looking at you bradsmith and raptor2012) PM me if you want to get in touch.

From Des Moines we will continue North on 35 almost to Minneapolis. Should hit I-494 south of Minneapolis around 1-2pm, may or may not stop.

With or without a short stop outside Minneapolis, we should be at Wausau, WI around 5pm (Now I'm looking at you RaptorSCrew).

Estimated arrival time at Lac Vieux: 7pm (give or take)


EDIT: we can discuss planned stops (food) once we know everyone that is interested in this convoy.

RaptorScrew changed his plans, afaik. He's meeting up with me just north of Minneapolis then we're meeting up with DevilDevil, BigBlueBalls and a couple others in Duluth.

If you're already going to Minneapolis anyway, going up to Duluth with us then over only adds 20 minutes to the drive.

But, we're meeting a bit north of MSP in Forest Lake at 0900-0915, then continuing up I35 to Duluth.

The McDonald's at this address is where me and RaptorScrew are meeting up, it's straight up I35 from MSP.
