So I am planning on upgrading my small first aid kit to a larger backpack style kit that is a little more inclusive. Anyone got recommendations on a particular kit?
I keep a stomp medical kit in the backseat at all times. I would highly recommend it but it comes with a hefty price tag. I have added a few things that I like to carry but other than that it comes with anything and everything you'll probably need.

What is your training level like? Do you plan on getting advanced lifesaving training? These kits won't do you any good unless you know how to use them.
Secondly, what kinds of injuries are you planning on treating? Sucking chest wounds, head trauma, crush injuries, broken bones, etc?
We receive a very basic "combat lifesaving" course through work, and that is barely enough to plug a hole until EMS shows.
I carry a small kit from DARK Angel, but that's more for GSW's and saving my partner's life or mine own: D.A.R.K., Complete Kit, (MIL-SPEC)--Black
Other guys carry Chinook Kits: EPMK - Level 4 | www.chinookmed.com
I would build my own with some of the basics:
Hemostatic: (QuikClot/Celox)
Chest Seals: Halo
Burn Dressings
Gauze/Bandages of various sizes
CAT
Emergency/Space Blanket
Military Splits
Neck Collar
Israeli Bandage/Pressure Dressings
PPE/CPR Mask
Lifesaving/Med Book
Plus all the basic First-Aid/CPR supplies
