If the cam kits are boogered up tell them to remove them they are not required just nice to have in some peoples opinion. but i know firestone makes you get them which is bs!!!!!!!!!! oh **** firestone!!!!:biggun:

They were putting the cam kit in. Passenger side lca mount was bent. Idk. This is why I don't like taking my truck to a shop.

They did the best they could and they come highly recommended. They handled it better than all the other shops I've dealt with.

Tire barn told me they wouldn't align it without the cam kit. I told them to give my keys back.

Ultimately they got the cam kit in and aligned it the best they could but told me to take it to ford and see if they'll replace the tie rods. He said if they screwed up the alignment and didn't fix it to bring it back and they would realign it.

Since moving to north Carolina I haven't been able to get a proper alignment. The dealer can't do it. Won't fit on the machine. Stock wheels and tires. Call Firestone, they got the same machine as the dealer. Eff Firestone!
@Rookie - call the dealer and tell them the inner rods are out. See what they say. Lol....

The technology in doing alignments are state of the art now days. My dealer has a thing you just put on the tire and they have tested it with the rack same outcome. Of cores my dealer rocks they still have one or two goofs but it's hard to get around that.

Wonder if @pirate air has seen them?

We have a nice Hunter alignment rack. My truck has about 1/2" of tire hanging off both sides with the stock wheels and DuraTracs. I'll be getting Methods come spring and running the stock BFGs until they wear out, so I'll be curious to see how much further it hangs off the rack, and also wonder if Hunter machine will pick up the sensors or if it is too wide at that point.

I considered removing mine, but was told it was nice to have keeping the snow out of the bed. Its cold enough grabbing things, no need to have to deal with them being frozen together and covered in snow

My tailgate here in Northern Michigan is currently frozen shut. If you have a cover like I do...you are out of luck for bed access.

Thats where the deicer and such come into play.
I actually was stuck inside my mustang once on my way back up to rochester from MD. Driving thru the mountains of PA and NY on my way up it was snowing and the road slush coated both sides of my doors (Being dumb and young doing 70 in the snow was not helping). the 99-04 mustangs had the indentation on the side panels so was perfect place for it to build up.

Had to roll down my window to get out.

I found out that the older heads would hit the front hoist posts when performing the caster swing.

Liking your choice of color. I have the following all laid out ready to install tomorrow:

* UCA
* LCA
* New Knuckles
* Upper shock mounts
* LCA mount doubler plates and cam kit
* Icon 3.0 Coilovers
* Icon 3.0 secondary bypass

I'm heading to the shop just after 6 via HD to rent a kerosene heater and hope to be finished by 10pm. First order of business will be minimal disassembly to get the welding done. After that just time to swap parts.

Well that plan went to shit quick. 15 hours in the shop and only one side done but lots of other stuff while waiting for the delivery to be done with.
