Got mine last week but haven't found a place to fill it yet. The canvas bag is definitely a plus for those of us that don't plan to permanently mount it.

Try maybe a paintball shop.
Do a Google search for your area of maybe carbonated beverage suppliers or welding gas suppliers.

I know pretty much nothing about CO2 tanks other than airing up tires. Forgive my stupidity but how well does it do in the cold? I know it gets pretty cold in MI. Should I leave it in the truck or bring it in?

I had it in the bed of my truck for Snowball. I had no problems and used it to air my tires up after the run. in the freezing cold.
