my truck has 2000 miles on it and you can already tell the bolsters are flattening out and the leather is wrinkling (i'm not fat, btw). It happened on my 2010 as well and I ended up having the seat foam replaced although that was its own adventure because the leather never fit right again. anyway...it's common.

(i'm not fat, btw).

:snoopfacepalm: lol

Am I the only one that read the title like the OP was banging his drivers seat? Must still be too early in the morning...

Anyway my seat bolsters on the driver seat of '13 seem to have broken in a bit, but nothing thats not to be expected from a truck with nice leather seats that I take flying through the woods over god knows what

I love the design and feel of my seats.. but I do agree a little better leather would go a long way. My previous ride (Mopar 11' Charger) had Katskinz leather from the factory.. the bolsters sucked due to dodge design but the leather on those seats was amazing! When mine start to die I plan to replace them with a kit of theirs if they make them.

The bolsters wear out on every truck out there. If you get up and then out it doesn't wear quite as fast. I had the bad habit of sliding out to the ground instead of using the cab step and that wore the seat out a lot faster. Now on the new one I force myself to use the cab step and pick my rear off the seat instead of sliding out. That made all the difference.

What is considered fat?

This would also meet that definition...

I’m sitting here in a hotel room reading this thread and laughing out loud till tears ran down my face!
I’m expecting a call from the front desk telling me to simmer down…LOL
