Could be right. I figured it was worth a shot, and I like the look so much that if/when it does wear off I'll just have them LineX'd the right way.

Hey Big J how are your trans temps after running that plate for a while.

It really is a non issue tank. I took these for you today; we spent today running 150miles of desert washes in 85 degree heat. I was working the gears thru the soft stuff all day to keep the revs high. Here's a shot about mid way thru the day while slowing down from about 60mph thru a particularly soft stretch requiring sustained high revs

And here's a shot near the end of the day, after sitting stationary idling for about 5 minutes.

Quick update: I just had the aluminum plates LineX'd. Much more gooder! No more rattling and far more grippy. I also replaced the rounded allen key bolts with stainless hex's with stainless washers. They're a perfect match for the wheels. Yeah, I'm **** like that.

Thanks 'dawg!

Hey by the way, remind me how much you paid for the wheel wells? The guy that did these quoted me $500! Seemed like quite a bit to me.
