This is an awesome set-up. Was it difficult to bolt the skid plates on? It looks like the sliders are tucked up tight against the body. My wife said "it looks expensive" haha. I guess that means I can't buy new sliders.
The only difficult item is cutting the OEM step brackets, the rest is just bolting everything up.
I took my time to protect everything against corrosion and I also changed the supplied hardware for the plates to stainless steel carriage bolts.

I'm very interested in a set of these, but they require cutting the stock step brackets? Would you mind going into a little more detail on that?

I'm not against cutting, grinding and welding on my truck at all, it's just that I already sold my stock steps...

Have you checked out my build thread on my on board air system? It tuck it up under the bed out of the way but I did cut out my spare tire mount cause I never use it an don't plane on using it

Yes I have. I need to be able to mount my spare under the truck when I'm not on runs. The bed mount doesn't bother me as much as the horns. I have no room up front to mount them so they're kinda ghetto right now.

They are tucked up real nice for a clean look and added clearance!

They're $1,995 for both the screw and scab plus shipping. As for the stock brackets they might not be too hard to find and we might Even have some around the shop but you'd have to ask Corey or darick email him for more info [email protected]

Yea a lot of guys need te spare location so very few would use the location I did but I do like the way he mounted them by the steps like that.
