Skid paltes

So I just got my 2010 Raptor and noticed the oil filter cover ont he skid plate is not there. I bought it used. Do the trucks come with this cover?

I Just hava a hole there now, there are coles in the actual plate for bolts. Guess Im gonna go to the dealership and price one out..

Yes you need a Cover for that hole.

They do, its the same material as the skid plate and there should be nuts already there. You will need the access panel and bolts.

I used my Vin # to look it up. Im almost 100% sure its the same for all years.

Thanks all. Guess I'm calling the dealership in the am. In the VW/Audi world there were online " discount" factory part stores. Do they exist for our trucks??

Better yet - post up on the WTB section. There are plenty of people with take-offs sitting around (I do - but keeping my OEM parts , for now).

I'm sure a vendor on here would be willing to work with ya.

Orlando Fl. Thinking of just making one out of 1/4 or 3/8 steel. Just wouldn't have the strength bends in it. But out of 3/8 it may be stronger than the original.. Just cut to shape,paint, go to lowes for grade 8 bolts and bolt it up.. Al and all I think it will be like 50 bucks. Unless anyone has one for sale?.
