Since there is a recent interest in going to a colder sp 542 spark plug....

Has anyone looked into silver tipped it found a set that will fit?

The Ford Offering is Irridium which is a lousy heat conductor. Silver may be a nice fit for a tuned raptor if you can find a quality one.

Thoughts?

You are overthinking things. Iridium plugs are used in everything nowadays and works fine in the Raptor. They conduct fine.

Irridium is very dense.

Conducts spark just fine.

Thermal transfer is poor in comparison

Many ecoboost owners have gone down that path and nothing works better than just a factory plug with correct gap. The days of going with special plugs are long gone.

All FRF members and ecoboost owners know that you are not a credible source of information about Fords, Raptors, ecooboosts or any other internal combustion engine.

Did you research the ecoboost before buying? Do you even understand how it works? Honest questions here.
When I bought my SVT Raptor, I made the choice because I didn’t want to fight through the ecoboost headaches. Sadly, you all are discussing all of the reasons I chose not to buy an ecoboost.

except, you don’t have a Raptor, any SVT, any Ford and probably not even a car or truck of your own.

Besides, you are still in denial of simple math; the ecoboost 3.5 is more reliable in all its forms than the modular v8 family from Ford, period.

Gen1 raptor owners are now admitting they actually had problems. Go figure. But you wouldn’t know this, not owning one and all.

You are seriously deranged. Your love of me borders on being a psychopath.
I actually own two SVT products... very well chosen for their RELIABILITY. I feel bad you did not research your purchase and made a bad decision.

You have been detached from reality for some time now, and escalating your disassociation by cyberstalking Guy. You’re the one who’s been banned here twice; well, to clarify, 2 of at least 4 of your registered user accounts here have been banned.

Research reveals that the ecoboost is statistically more reliable than the previous ‘modular v8’ family and there are more ecoboost on the road now.

You have repeatedly posted internet rumors and supported innuendo and unsubstantiated reports and asserted these as proven facts. There is a grave danger that new users registering here may actually think that stuff you type here is true and that would be unfortunate. That whole weep hole lie now having been totally debunked, the “new” 2017.5 engine, your “expertise” in spark plug gaps for the ecoboost that you admit you do not even own, and the list goes on.

Really, you need to get medical attention for your obsession with ecoboosts and Fords in general before you become a danger to yourself and others.
