See these steps aren't that great when it comes to big rocks like you said big J we definitely need something really tough and solid! I think I might be giving RPG a call this afternoon haha haven't spoke to my best bud jarrett in a few weeks. Ill see what his sliders have to offer and mate improve them a little

I perfer a side step of some kind, just for the protection it provides from the jerkoffs in the parking lots. Though, I do like the look without the steps. I know I'm not much help here.

BTW-someday your ass is going to get old and your going to need them steps.

Agreed 100%. Forget the step part...They are Ding protectors!!!

Yea that's about it but even as ding protectors they don't stop this that often I run 37" toyos on methods do they stick out a bit and throw stuff all down the side of the truck and some of the roads and trails I go down have bushes and small branches that stick out so I have a lot of scratches down both sides of the truck so I'm not too worried about things getting slung up the side lol it's gonna happen

My buddy took his off and pre ran the race course in Lucerne Ca for 20 miles. Ended up with having to replace both rear fender flares and paint the leading edge of the bed from rock debri. This was on a fast section of the course so the projectiles had some velocity

Yea I'm not worried about pair or the rear flares right now those ate too easy to fix or replace plus I won't e running them too long without the steps in just waiting to find the perfect ones which should only take a few months

their just damage multipliers, they wont protect your truck from anything, take them off if you dont like them, and if your woried about debris get mud flaps, thats what I plan to do
