I went thru Wendover but You can go of the I 80. It pretty cool. You can run all over the salt flats. The salt was covered in water and pretty rough when I was there. If you are going there take the dirt road around the silver Mtns,( mountains along the west side of the salt flats) and also head around the floating island.

Thanks, been thinking about heading out there. That wet salt scares me though. Looks pretty soft.

The salt is very hard on the race course( I think it is 9 miles long). There were motor homes cruising up and down the race course.Once you leave the race track the salt is very thin and you get a constant rooster tail of salt pouring off your tires and it covers everything on your truck.
