Shocks or Springs first?

So I have been looking at replacing my shock. I was thinking rebuilds from TSW because stock Fox 17/18 shocks are hard to find new. However I'm not sold on rebuilds because of durability and quality.

So now I'm thinking the Race Series 3.0s (non live valve) but I also have been thinking Eibachs springs and Icon leaf springs. My leafs look like they are starting to sag but my stock shocks are at the time to be replaced ( 48k on truck).

I can only afford to do one or the other so which should I do first? Which will be better to do first?

Well, you can't really do the front shocks without doing the front springs, logically. Maybe do the front shocks and springs first and do the rear shocks and springs next. Personally, I would rebuild all shocks at once and leave all springs alone. What kind of hauling do you do with your truck?

Not much hauling but do carry gear for trail riding and camping. I was thinking I would sell the Eibachs after I get race shocks if I went all springs first.

Rear leafs were game changing. Eibachs up front were not however. I am now waiting on my Fox Factory Race 3.0 to show up on Thursday.
Good to know, what leafs? Deavers or Icon? Also how long did it take to order the Fox 3.0?

My first suspension mod was rear deavers, I did a lot of camping, etc, biggest difference, worth the money, even though it's expensive. I already had a fox bump stop installed previously.

I went with Deaver +4HD. The Fox shocks I lucked out on and Apollo Optics had a couple sets in stock. The rears were supposed to be back ordered till the end of the month but they ended up shipping the next day. All due to be on my door step on Thursday. I am using Live Wire so may be different lead time for you.

Was in the same boat. Decided to replace my 2018 shocks with some 2019/2020 Live Valve take-offs that were brand new. Also replacing the rear leaf springs with some stock factory 2020 leaf springs that were taken off at 8K miles. Cheap but stock upgrade, along with some 2020 wheels and new tires.
