After mud/dirt/rain my shocks look like a big brown **** pretty much. I was thinking of shining them up to look all nice and pretty for the run next weekend and was wondering what you guys clean yours with? I was thinking 409 or something in the neighborhood of that but wasn't sure if this could possibly be corrosive or a bad thing. What are your opinions?

Westley's Bleach-white spray on, let soak then power wash off. Then douse them in foaming tire shine :)

Simple Green and a good Carnuba wax will save the shine over time

Also WD-40 the shock shafts

So do I just grease the shaft:) or hose them down with wd 40 then wash it off? Seems they would collect a lot of dust otherwise.

Simple green is a degreaser that cant be good.

Wesleys and tire shine sounds good too.
