She's Coming Back To Life

Man it's been a long few days. We were able to get the motor and trans back in, welded up all the A,B,C pillars including the seat belt bars.

I radiused the A pillar tubes to reduce the blind spot typically associated with a straight tube.



We dropped the cage down to make sure we were able to weld 100% of every joint.



I ended up putting the X in the Rear of the truck to keep the cab more livable as my daily driver. We went back and forth with this one as we were going to X the B pillar. I keep needing to remind myself this is not a race truck, but one I need to take my kids to school in everyday. Maybe when they start riding the bus I will add it to the B pillars then.

We aren't going to do the long travel front on this truck for now. We are going to unveil our new dual shock setup in the front. Travel will remain stock, it will just have a lot more control and ability than a normal 3.0 setup. I think that, with the 18-20 it will have in the rear should be a really nice combo, but we will see.

Tell me about it. I should be able to get it to a drivable stage, I think. It just might not have interior, fiberglass, toolbox, headlights, taillights, you know, the little stuff

I will explain everything at Texas, and for those who didn't attend, will do a full write up on it, video and the usual when I get back. But I will say the setup will be 95% bolt on with only one mount that would need to be welded.
