I'm renting a Focus at the airport...you can take that for a spin! I'm thinking of going all Johnny Knoxville with it!!:signs1:

Hahaha. I was just watching that on TV the other night. (Brought it back and said. I filled the tank up lol)

It's 2:15am in the morning and just got home from working on this dam thing. The good news is the cage is basically done minus a couple little items. We got the dash back in and fits better than any of us expected it would. The parking brake sits right in the same location, the hood lever doesn't need to be modified and trimming was kept to a minimal.

I'll post pics of the progress tomorrow.

Damn you!

I stopped by yesterday for a few minutes... can't believe the progress you made in a week. Even Big J has enough head room with this cage the way it's tucked up in the roof.

Here are the latest updates

Dash bar is tucked up in there perfect and stitch welded along the body. We didn't need to trim one ounce of the heater core so the defrost should work perfect.

A pillar down tube stitched to the body for added support.

We had to trim about 10-20% of the material on the parking brake, but is bolts right back in.

Just think of this experience as future product development...

Corey is gonna draw the cage in the computer so we can have all the tubes CNC bent and notched to cut down on time and cost. For those who are interested we can do this exact same cage and add even more bracing if the customer desires.
