What y'all think? Good or bad?

I think it looks too plain on these trucks. I was just going to shave the F-150 & Raptor Badges along with the Ford badge in the middle & leave the handle. I think it'd look good with just the handle there & nothing else. Any opinions on this? I'll definitely be shaving the antenna off, just can't decide about the tailgate yet.

Agreed. Too plain. Not to mention, how the hell do you open the tailgate now????

the handle gets flipped to the inside when they shave the handle.

too plane for the truck, it doesn't flow. He's got an empty tailgate with nothing going on, then a busy *** bumper between it sticking out, the chrome, the plastic, the backup sensors, the hitch, there's a lot going on with the bumper, and zero going on with the tailgate. It would flow with a rollpan, or a clean sheetmetal bumper without all the lines, sensors, different materials, etc..

I think the stock tailgate looks pretty nicely set up. It doesn't have the hump in the metal like the older f-150's around the handle, and with the ford oval in the center, it's still balanced with f150 on one side and raptor on the other. Remove one of those and I think it looks goofy with just 1 emblem on the side, 1 emblem in the middle, and nothing on the other side.

Plus you lose your backup camera if you shave all that.

Thanks for posting this!
I have been thinking of doing this but will have to wait for when I do the wrap. I'll be keeping the Ford emblem and handle though. I agree that it is a bit too barren in the picture you posted. Do you have the back-up cam? You would have to remount that if you do. Also, they have companies that make different stickers/logos for the center of the Ford emblem.

Just noticed your in the area! I have been meaning to plasti-dip the chrome on the Ford logo for a while now. If you would be interested I have plenty of dip and masking tape if you want to try it out. Best part is, if you don't like it... you can peel it off! I'm also going to be removing the Raptor badge but will be keeping the F150 for the time being. I like that people don't know what it is...

I won't have the truck for a good 3 months, but the first week I get it I'll be doing all the body work so I can wrap it in 3M protective film. Where's the backup cam located exactly?
