I think once you go to a few its not as exciting as you think. Feels like it gets worse every year. Used to be able to register easily with a fake business card but I have heard they are cracking down on that. Years ago at least you could end up with a bunch of cool freebies from the manufacturers. I stopped going about 6 years ago. Don't miss it one bit, actually the only thing I miss is the networking with others in the industry. Thats it.

Looking to party? Industry parties? You'll be disappointed. Its literally 300-1 Guy to Girl ratio. Don't go to Sema for that.

I go every year. Last year I was anxiously awaiting my 21 Gen 3. I hadn’t seen one and was looking forward to seeing one at the Ford display. All broncos. One highly modified Gen 3.

One of these days you will figure out that saying stuff like that impresses NOBODY. If this was a forum of mostly 12 year olds, maybe that would wow some of them. You really need to give that crap a break.

Out of the several thousand successful, wealthy, accomplished, people I have known in my life, both through work and personal, how many do you think keep bragging about how much money they make/have, and how much they spend? Go ahead, guess.

If you guessed ZERO you were right!
Good on you for trying to help. I'm picturing him as being like the Hmong kid in "Gran Torino". Hopefully you can man him up. :)

Shame that Ford & GM (& Hyundai) pulled out this year.
Like someone noted, you can purchase tickets for Friday.
I think they cost $70 before the end of the month and $100 after.
There definitely is something for everybody at the show.
Yes, many lifted trucks, which I do enjoy.
But also resto mods, hot rods, JDM stuff, Italian supercars, rat rods, fat fenders, low riders, and lots more.
House of Kolor and PPG have cars with amazing paint work, go figure.
We always dash to them first.
If you have never attended, I highly recommend it if you are an enthusiast.
