If it’s Ford Premium Care it should transfer. $75.00 feeI was never clear if they are or are not transferable. I know you can end the agreement and get some of the up front cost back.

The plan is transferable, you just need to go with the person that you are transferring it to to a Ford dealer and they will help you. there is a transfer fee that may be up to $100 now.Hmm, something I just thought about, I have the Ford 125k, 6 year warranty with rental. It's in the shop right now, lol, and I have a "free" rental/loaner truck. I assume it is transferrable. Might help on the resale side of things.
True he’s in Texas was referring to Texas specific taxes. That depends on which state you’re in.
I have a feeling gen 1 prices with over 100k are about to tank. Poor fuel economy and a poor economy. Interest rates on used vehicles will kill the older/higher mileage second hand market.Ehhhh I've been looking at gen1s and have been finding them in the 26-28 with about 150k miles
They are transferable but it cost me $75 to do the transfer.I was never clear if they are or are not transferable. I know you can end the agreement and get some of the up front cost back.
I know Porsche is a cut above the rest when it comes to germans, but JD Power awards can be bought, and don't mean squat. I fully agree that the Raptor is the 911 of the truck world though.“The Porsche 911 is the highest-ranked model for trouble-free ownership in the J.D. Power 2021 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS), released today. The Macan ranked as most dependable among Premium Compact SUVs, and overall the Porsche brand across model lines improved to second-place in the annual study.”
Also, I believe 70% of Porsches ever built are still on the road today.
The Raptor might as well be the 911 of the pickup truck world. It is the benchmark, it is what other trucks strive to be. It is in a class of its own. It does everything well, and it is a special car.
The fact that nothing like the Raptor exists is one of the largest reasons it'll hold its value regardless of mileage.. I can't speak for every market, but I can tell you that in the southwest Gen 1 and Gen 2 Raptors still pull a pretty penny on the used market even with 'high' miles.Funny you should say that, by business partner owns a car lot. He knows what they sale for and what hit mileage takes.
On a normal 1/2 ton pick up miles are about $0.04 a mile. So a F150 with 100,000 miles, when average for age is 25,000 will take a hit of about $3000.
A Raptor on the other hand takes a hit of about $0.13 a mile,(on par with high end vehicles, like Porsche, 'vette, gt500) so the same mileage difference would be a hit of $9750
After shopping for about 5 months I can attest to those numbers being damn near spot on.
Again I know zero, until last week I had not purchased a vehicle for 7 years (wife's SHO) and for myself 21 years.
But my business partner (car lot owner) went over all this with me while I was searching for my Raptor.
It is because there is really nothing like it and it is desirable.
Chevy, ram, Ford, Toyota, nissian all make 1/2 ton pickups. But even with the TRX no one really makes anything like the Raptor
If you could have just left that statement out, I would have agreed with you.
The Raptor does not do "everything" well. In fact as far as "trucks" go it doesn't do anything "well". It only really accels at one thing and that is off roading
It doesn't, handle, brake, haul or tow as well as a standard F150.
But alas a Porsche is horrible at hauling sheets of plywood.
Mine was really worth 64 I would guess. It was my daily driver. Had a score of 97 on car fax. Only bad thing is I had 100,000 miles free oil service and 100,000 mile warranty I didn’t pay for and it can’t be transferred. I paid 10000 over on the gen 3 but they were fair on the trade. I paid 69000 for my 2020 and msrp was 75575. So, got more and paid more.I have a 2019 Porsche Targa. Not one issue and 8000 miles. My Gen 2 43000 miles zero and it is a 2020.
I traded my 2020 802 with msrp of 75 for 68700 43000 miles one owner.
