Yeah. The time has passed.......whatever.

To the OP - go to the dealership and drive a F150 1/2 ton with the new V6TT. It won't be exactly the same, but you'll get the idea. If you like it, then wait for the new Raptor. If you don't think you'll like it and your truck is in good shape, hold onto it. You've got a keeper there and should be able to find a buyer for it in a couple of years when Ford will come to their senses and put a V8 back into the Raptors.

God luck in your decision. Either way, at least you're an owner now and have the experience to make a good decision not based on some made up facts about something they know nothing about.

Great advice everyone. Thank you for the rational responses. I got a lot to think about. I love my molten orange og. I will wait a while longer before making any decisions. I have not driven an ecoboost yet and may try that first. (I'd hate to sell and be disappointed)

Definitely drive the ecoboost first. Those turbos spool up quick. I think you'll be impressed and find the 3.5 in the regular F-150 is faster off the line than the 6.2.

Dont forget the EB in the Gen 2 Raptor is all new and not just the regular 3.5L EB thats in the current f150.

I was up in the air with my 2014 SE, but I think I'm going for the 2017 now. I considered upgrading shocks on the 14, but the combo of lighter and bigger shocks on the 17 should be a bigger upgrade vs getting Fox 3.0s on this one.
