I think it's worth taking out for a drive.
Don't call ahead to tell them that you're coming over, you'll want to check out how it drives with a cold engine. If you're satisfied with how it drives make sure you pull into a parking lot and press every button to see if it works.
And just because Carfax is clean it'd be smart to look under the truck at the frame and under the hood near the corners to look for prior collision repair. Open & close doors/tailgate/sunroof. Does everything line up OK? Does it operate smoothly?

So a little closure to this one. I saw in the pictures that this rig had a JDM tune. I looked up the company and got in touch. Big thanks to Jim at JDM who put all my worries to rest. He remembered the truck well and gave me a detailed run down on it. He told me to get there ASAP and to swoop this bad boy up.

So, I was getting ready to head there today and it turns out it sold yesterday late afternoon :-( The search continues...
